This year, Mall of the North celebrates 15 incredible years of being part of the wonderful Polokwane community we call home. Lace up and move at the Mall of the North Marathon
On Sunday, 19 April, the Mall of the North Marathon returns for a celebration of endurance and personal achievement.
Starting from the mall’s overflow parking area at 6am, runners can take on a variety of distances, including the full 42.2km marathon, 21.1km half marathon, 10km run, and a 5km fun run, making it the perfect road race for both seasoned runners and first-timers. With R100 000 in prize money up for grabs, a Comrades qualifier, and a vibrant race-day atmosphere, there’s a reason our race is a highlight on the local calendar.
If you’re getting race-ready, Mall of the North has everything you need. From performance wear to running shoes and accessories, stores like Totalsports, Mr Price Sport, Tekkie Town, and Dis-Chem, along with many others, have you covered.
On the day, come and soak up the energy, support the runners and be part of the excitement as the community comes together.
Something for the fans
April also brings something exciting for movie lovers as the brand new Michael Jackson biopic comes to our cinemas from Wednesday, 22 April. Fans can look forward to experiencing the music and the story behind the legacy on Ster-Kinekor’s big screen.
